This multi-function printer (printer, scanner, copier), which is powered scanner as a copier? In other words, you lift the lid and place the piece of paper, include a manual scan on the bed, cover, click on "Search" and then open the lid and lift the paper? Rather, it is on the upper bed scanning, then picked up the lead again? I just wanted to see if such a thing existed, before you start to look at the multifunction printer ... Thanks in advance!

Very few printers work that way. Just off the top of my head, I know that the Brother MFC-3360C features a top-loading relief for copy / fax / scanner, and many of its other models.

The multifunction device type you are looking for is an automatic document feeder (ADF). I know that is the brother, I have an old MFC-3100. I'm sure other manufacturers offer them as well.
